Green Lane pupils attend Cross Country, Leeds City Finals
On Tuesday some of our cross-country squad attended the Leeds City Finals at Temple Newsam. It was a proud day to be a part of as all the finest primary aged runners in Leeds gathered to tackle the hills and slopes of the grounds within Temple Newsam. Each member of the Green Lane team showed incredible character and determination – we were all so proud! A number of the squad had gone the extra mile and attended after-school training a couple of weeks before the event and it really showed!

The Yorkshire Cross Country Championships takes place on the 8th March and we’ll keep you posted as to whether any teams/individuals have made it through as soon as we get the official results (not yet in at the time of going to press on Friday morning!)
