Ingleby Manor – Amazing Exams Results!

Students and staff of Ingleby Manor Free School & Sixth Form are celebrating today after receiving their best ever set of GCSE results.

In English (best of language or literature), 96% of students achieved a grade 4 or above (up 9% from 2019)  and 88% achieved a grade 5 strong pass or above (up 9% from 2019).

In mathematics, 86% of students achieved a grade 4 or above (up 10% from 2019)  and 69%  achieved a grade 5 strong pass or above (up 16% from 2019).

In the important ‘cross over measure’ of students achieve either grade 4 passes or grade 5 strong passes in English and mathematics,  82% of our student gained a grade 4 in both mathematics and English (up 10% from 2019)  and 65% achieved  a grade 5 strong pass or above in both subjects (up 14% from 2019).

We are absolutely delighted with these results which reflect the hard work put in by both students and staff.  They are an indication of the strong teaching and individual support we provide for our students.

These achievement outcomes are a significant improvement on the last set of outcomes in 2019 and an improvement on the excellent 2021 teacher assessed grades (TAG).   We would like to congratulate all our students on their GCSE results.  Their success is very well deserved.

In an era of COVID recovery there were some particularly strong performances that we would like to commend our students for.   Many students achieved the highest grade 9 available in many of their subjects, but especially well done to Liam Ford for achieving a clean sweep of grade 9’s in all 11 subjects, an outstanding achievement.

Thank you to all the staff, parents, carers and above all our class of 2022 for making this such a memorable day.

Kind Regards

Ray Parkinson

Principal
