St Wilfrid’s Academy’s Inclusive Practices Earn National Recognition

We are delighted to announce that St Wilfrid’s Academy has been chosen as one of only 8 winners of the inaugural ‘IQM National Inclusion Champion’ award.

Each of the schools has demonstrated excellence when it comes to inclusive practice. They have created welcoming schools where diversity is cherished and celebrated and have shown they are willing to work with other schools to spread the powerful message of inclusion across the UK.

Joe McCann, CEO of IQM extended his congratulations to each of the winners. He explained,

“These eight schools exemplify everything IQM stands for. We are looking forward to working with each of you over the next 12 months to help share and promote inclusivity in schools all over the country.

We admire your passion when it comes to inclusion and the creativity you showed in creating some amazing videos. We can’t wait to see what you do next!”

The Award was open to schools which hold IQM Flagship status, and entries were received from across the UK.

St Wilfrid’s Academy will now continue to share and promote its outstanding practice around inclusion, supporting others schools across the country.
